I’ve been dealing with all things computerized and electronic since 1985 and have come to realize the old adage, the more things change, the more they remain the same, is especially true when deciphering the mysteries of technology.  Having an extensive knowledge of what’s come before gives me understanding of and ease with the latest technologies.

I can help with PCs, Apple products, and many other devices.  What appears below is an abbreviated list of the work I can do.  If it’s not listed, and you’re wondering if I might be able to help you out, please e-mail or call with your question.   If I can help, I will; if I can’t, I’ll try to point you to someone who can.

Rates should not be a mystery nor a surprise:

       On-Site Service Call:    $80 per hour 

• one-hour minimum is charged for any service visit 
• time over 1 hour is billed in 15-minute increments  

       Remote Support:        $70 per hour

• 30-minute minimum is charged for any remote support session
• time beyond the initial 30 minutes is billed in 15-minute increments 
  
• your computer must be connected to the internet and functional
• I will walk you through establishing a Windows Quick Assist session

       Private Tutoring:        $65 per hour

If you are located 5 miles or more from Staunton, VA, a round-trip mileage charge at the current IRS rate for business use per mile will apply to an on-site service call.  I serve Staunton, Waynesboro, Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, Lexington, and the surrounding counties for common computers and electronic devices.  Due to the limited number of technicians experienced with assistive technology I serve a much wider territory for these needs.

Those seeking smartphone or tablet repairs should reach out to either Gadget Town or iRepair, both of which are located in Harrisonburg, VA.  Both do smartphone repairs on most makes and models.
